Istanbul Free Trade Zone Seeks Cooperation With Counterpart In Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, October 3, 2022 (FBC) – The Istanbul Free Industry and Trade Zone has expressed interest to collaborate with its counterpart in Ethiopia, Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone.

An Ethiopian delegation comprising leadership and experts of several public institutions has visited the Istanbul Free Industrial and Trade Zone in Tukey.

On the occasion, the delegation led by Deputy CEO of Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation, Adisu Mamo held discussions with Director General of the Istanbul Free Industry and Trade Zone on ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in trade and investment sectors.

Barlas Nas, Business Development Manager at Istanbul Free Industrial and Trade Zone explained to the delegation that they are mainly engaged in solar energy, automotive supply, shipping supplies, machinery, chemical and textile areas, pledging commitment to explore potential in Ethiopia in these sectors.
