Ethiopian Embassy in Tel Aviv in partnership with Israeli Export and International Cooperation Institution organized a round table that involved several stakeholders on how to boost trade and investment cooperation between Ethiopia and Israel.
Israeli investors operating in Ethiopia, Israeli companies that have interest to invest in Ethiopia and experts have taken part in the round table.
On the occasion, Deputy Chairman of Israeli Export and International Cooperation Institution, Sabine Segal said such consultative platforms have immense significance in fostering economic partnership between the two nations.
The round table discussed opportunities and bottlenecks in the trade and investment sectors and sought possible solutions to address the problems accordingly.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Israel, Reta Alemu briefed the Israeli side on flourishing investment opportunities in Ethiopia and called on the business community to utilize the conducive climate in the country.
Ethiopia has put in place legal and structural mechanisms so as to address bottlenecks and create convenient atmosphere for foreign direct investment and attract more investors from all parts of the world, according to FBC.
