Addis Ababa, July 6, 2021 (FBC) –Ethio-telecom has launched its LTE Advanced 4G mobile network in 12 towns.
The company launched the advanced services in Hawassa, Shashemene, Yirgalem, Aletawondo, Dila, Arsi Negele, Negele, Adola, Bulehora, Yabelo, Moyale and Shakiso.
Frehiwot Tamru, CEO of Ethio-telecom, said the launch of the service will have a significant contribution for the growth and prosperity of the nation.
According to her, 4G mobile network was launched in 65 towns/cities over the past 5 months alone.
Ethio-telecom has 55.4 million clients so far.
