Addis Ababa, June 8, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Tefera Derbew, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the People’s Republic of China has met and discussed with Zhiling Wei, Senior Vice President of Geely Holding Group on ways of investing in Ethiopia.
During the meeting ambassador Tefera briefed the Senior Vice President on the potential and the incentives that have been given in Ethiopia.
“Ethiopian government has committed to assist foreign enterprises in creating a conducive business environment in Ethiopia”, he has mentioned.
“Ethiopia as the second-most populous country and the gateway to Africa will provide a great opportunity for Geely Automobile Company to invest and to have an access in entering the market, Zhiling Wei”, on her part stated.
Ambassador Tefera assured Geely Holding Group that the embassy is always ready to assist and collaborate until it establishes the assembly plant in Ethiopia.
